3rd & 4th Class January blog post.
Introducing our first monthly blog by the pupils of third and fourth class……We’ve had a great start to the new year and we’ve been working busily since we came back after Christmas. We are now experts on the weather and we know all about the different climates. We did some research at home and presented our work to the class. We all worked really hard and Mr. O’ Meara said we did a great job! They were a great success.
Our Music teacher, Francesca has been back into us. We really enjoy our Music classes and so far we have been working on “Alabama gal” and yesterday we learned “Ding Dong I’ve got a rhythm in my head”.
We were very lucky to have a visit from Oisín Feery, who is a past pupil and is competing in the Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi in March. Oisín is kayaking and we look forward to hearing how he gets on.
We have been working on our fitness each day in class by following the 10 @ 10 videos. It has been great fun!
Finally, just today we explored the work of European artist Vincent Van Gogh and painted our own “Starry Night”. Have a look at our work below. Bye!
P.S. Mr. O’ Meara has been driving us on this month!
