About Us - Cappagh National School, Tullamore
St. Colman's National School, Cappagh is a mixed-gender primary school located in Cappagh, Croghan, Tullamore, County Offaly.
Located in the heart of the rural communities of Ballycommon and Kilclonfert, our school is dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our History
St. Colman's N.S. or Cappagh N.S. was opened in 1975. It replaced two local schools, Kilmurry and Kilclonfert N.S. These two school premises now serve as two community centres. Cappagh has grown into a modern school with 5 mainstream classrooms, with a commitment to academic excellence, community spirit, and fostering well-rounded individuals.
Over the decades, the school has undergone significant changes, with new extension, facilities, and programs introduced to enrich the learning experience. Despite these changes, our school has remained deeply rooted in the values of respect, care, and inclusivity. We are proud of our long-standing tradition of providing quality education and playing an integral role in the communities of Ballycommon and Kilclonfert and the parish of Daingean.
We are excited to be accepting applications for enrolment. Please contact us by email or phone.
